It may be thousands of miles from Munich but NYC's 1 Penn Plaza will be the site of a massive Oktoberfest pop-up celebration -- aptly named OktoberfestNYC -- featuring a 6,000 square feet beer garden, shot skis, folk bands, people in dirndls, classic German cuisine like brats and schnitzels and, of course, loads and loads of beer.
