Damien Hirst Spotted -- Preview His 11-Gallery Strong Gagosian Exhibit

In what is sure to be one of the biggest art events of the season, on January 11th, all 11 of Gagosian's galleries worldwide will feature a total of over 300 of Damien Hirst's famous "spot paintings" -- you know, the ones with the spots! More than two years in the making, and culled from over 150 lenders from 20 countries, "The Complete Spot Paintings 1986-2011" will include everything from the first spot Hirst ever spotted back in 1986 to his most recent which has a whopping 25,781 spots. The show includes works for sale, but Gagosian hasn't stated yet which ones, and for how much.
