About midway through the trailer for Brian De Palma's latest thriller, Passion -- based on the French movie Love Crime -- Rachel McAdams' character tells Noomi Rapace's character that she's "very secretive." The same can be said of trailer itself, which suggests a lot while giving us surprisingly little to go by. This trailer is COY. What we can surmise, however, is this: McAdams and Rapace work together; they are likely going to sleep with each other; Paul Anderson's character has probably slept with/worked with McAdams and warns us of her tricks; an idea is stolen; there is completely terrifying mask involved for reasons unknown.
