We guess you can say that Green Day are officially American rock superstars at this point. Since forming in 1987, the band has sold over 65 million records worldwide and has gone from being scrappy pride and joy of Lookout! records to penning full-on rock operas and Tony-winning musicals.
Today, the band (who are now all in their 40s) released the music video for the first single off of a trilogy of albums which will be called ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tres! "Oh Love," which will be on ¡Uno!, shows Green Day playing in a warehouse for a bevy of tattooed models clad in leather. Sounds about appropriate for Green Day's mid-life comeback. ¡Uno! comes out on September 25.
