One half of the surrealist comedy duo Tim & Eric, Eric Wareheim directed a bonkers video for Charli XCX's "Famous." Like most of Tim & Eric's humor, the music video is dark and skewering as it explores web culture taken to the extreme. The visuals for "Famous" feature a 90s-nostalgia-clad Charli fan; at the outset of the video, the super fan is in her room, dancing with carefree abandon as she watches Charli XCX on her iPhone screen. Naturally, things gradually take a dark turn when both her iPhone and her iPad lose their charge. We all know how harrowing a quest for an outlet can get. Watch the video, above.

Our foremost modern gladiator Kerry Washington was presented with the Vanguard Award at GLAAD's 26th Annual Media Awards over the weekend. In her acceptance speech she spoke on diversity in television, what it means to be an LGBTQ ally, and, what people most often forget, intersectionality: "You'd think we'd band together and fight the good fight, but history tells us that no, often we don't. Women, poor people, people of color, people with disabilities, immigrants, gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, trans people, intersex people. We have been pitted against each other, and made to feel like there are limited seats at the table for those of us who fall into the category of 'other'."
But perhaps the best and most sobering moment from the speech happened when the Scandal star roused the crowd by breaking down the notion of "diversity." (As the ruler of Shondaland herself, Shonda Rhimes, put it: "As if there is something unusual about telling stories involving women and people of color and LGBTQ characters on TV. I have a different word: normalizing. I'm normalizing TV. I am making TV look like the world looks.") "I don't decide to play the characters I play as a political choice," said Washington. "Yet the characters I play do become political statements because having your story told -- as a woman, as a person of color, as any member of any disenfranchised community -- is sadly often still a radical idea... That is why the work of GLAAD is so important."

A continuation of Florence and the Machine's video for "What Kind of Man,"which we could only describe as "intense," St. Jude is just as heavy. Though director Vincent Haycock says the video and song are obviously about relationships, he notes in a press release, "it's also about Florence traveling through our version of the Divine Comedy." Does that make "What Kind of Man" the Inferno and "St. Jude" purgatory? If so, that means we've still got paradise to tackle with Flo -- maybe things are about to brighten up.

It's been a banner day for new music videos: Charli XCX enlisted Eric Wareheim to create a surrealist world filled with '90s-obssed teens and streetwear-clad retirees, FKA twigs"gave birth to dance,"Florence Welch created her own "Divine Comedy" and Shamir morphed into a puppet. But the most visually stunning video from the last 24 hours is probably "Lean On" by Major Lazer and DJ Snake featuring MØ. In the clip, the trio travel to India where they dance (and soak in a bath) amidst gorgeous temples and dusty streets and we even get to see Diplo shirtless. Speaking about the video, the producer says, "Major Lazer has always been a culture mashup and to us, India feels like some kind of special creature with one foot in history and one firmly in the future." The track will appear on the group's forthcoming album, Peace Is the Mission, out June 1st via Mad Decent, and will supposedly be "the first of several Major Lazer albums over the next year," according to a press release. Give the clip a watch, above.

Who wore it best?
You spent Valentine's Day with them, you've worked more turtlenecks into your wardrobe and you mostly respond to texts with "SWISH" or "at the zoo with my boo and my baby boo." But how else to pledge your fealty to Kimye? Australian graphic artist Georgia Perry's new Kim and Kanye lapel pins should do the trick. Perry's selling the pins for $15 AUD (that's about $12 USD) and her collection also includes Beyonce and Jay-Z, Elaine Benes and Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David -- for days you're feeling pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good -- and Oprah, because obviously. Mix and match or wear them all at once to become a walking Tumblr account. Check them out below and see more of Perry's pins here.
UPDATE: This might be a drill? According to this page on Rihanna's new website, "BBHMM" is most likely Rihanna's new single, not the entire album. The page's URL reads, in part, "BBHMM-Single-Art_APPROVED." Sad trombone. At least we get a new song tomorrow!
THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
Near perfect human Rihanna just sent out the Bad-Gal-Signal on Instagram. She posted a picture that looks suspiciously like an album cover along with a link to the website RihannaNOW.com. RihannaNOW.com isn't up yet, but -- if Rihanna's hashtagging is to be believed -- I'd start watching that space. #March26 is tomorrow folks. Could Rihanna's new album be on it's way?
Notably, the photo is captioned with both #R8-- a hashtag previously rumored to be the title of the album -- and #BBHMM. Some are now speculating that "BBHMM" stands for "Bitch Better Have My Money," which would be a very bad gal album title.

If you've been missing Mariah Carey lately (did Christmas even happen this year? Where were the instagram robe photos? The seasonal Aspen Jacuzzi photos?), she's baaaaaack. Late Late Show host James Corden got Mimi to ride around L.A. with him while they blasted her music and sang along to her hits for a segment called "Carpool Karaoke" and the whole thing is just delightful. After Rihanna whipped the internet into a frenzy yesterday evening with a cryptic announcement to stay tuned for new music today (could her much-anticipated Kanye West-produced album be dropping, could it, could it????), it turned out that today's big drop was the new single "BBHMM" (Bitch Better Have My Money). In addition to "FourFiveSeconds," this is the first full single we've gotten from Trap Queen Fenty after she's previously previewed the soulful "Higher" and "American Oxygen" and it's nothing but emoji flames. Snippets were released early this morning on the app DubSmash and the full single was played on I Heart Radio stations across the country this morning. Listen over at Miss Info or download on iTunes.
For all its convenience and array of possibilities, dating sites and apps can be a minefield of unwanted dick pics, corny lines and weird "straight white dude questions." That's why we're always impressed whenever someone calls out these lewd users on their behavior (shoutout to the girl who draws unflattering nude portraits of gross guys on OkCupid). Recently, some guy hacked Tinder and found a way to get two dudes who matched with the same (fake) female profile to start propositioning one another instead. As first reported on The Verge, the California-based computer engineer created a program that "identifies two men who 'like' one of his bait profiles...and matched them to each other. The suitors messages --
some aggressive, others mundane, but all of them unabashedly flirtatious -- are then relayed, back and forth, to one another through the dummy profile."
The results are, not surprisingly, amazing and it's even more incredible that despite many, many indications that the two bros were not, in fact, messaging the woman (or even any woman) they originally thought, their quest for ass continued. Evidently the engineer got involved and revealed the prank any time an actual date was set up but not before some sexxxy come-ons were exchanged. Take a look at a few of these examples above and below and head to The Verge for more.
Athleisure lives! Kendall Jenner continues her campaign streak with Calvin Klein's latest offering, the #mycalvins Denim Series. This follows Justin Bieber's underwear campaign for the brand and the subsequent Bulgegate scandal of 2015. Calvin Klein's new streetwear-inspired line, features Jenner in an assortment of sweats with minimal makeup and "I woke up like this" hair alongside male model, Simon Nessman. Fran Lebowitz would surely hate this.
See Kendall Jenner in the new campaign, below. The Calvin Klein Jeans Denim Series will be available exclusively at Opening Ceremony on April 15th.
The late great exploitation produce Dave Friedman said it best: "After Mr. Edison made those tin-types gallop, it wasn't but two days later that some enterprising guy had his girlfriend take her clothes off (for the camera)." Foreign film in the 60s pushed the boundaries and love scenes slowly became more and more explicit. Nowadays nude love scenes grace most films but there are some that scar the brain for life. Here are my favorite top 10.
Two Moon Junction
Zalman King's crackpot masterpiece about a spoiled Southern debutante (Sherilyn Fenn) who falls for a studly long-haired carnival worker (Richard Tyson) on the eve of her wedding, How can she say "I do" when she's turned on by the sound of the Tilt-A-Whirl in the distance? "You frighten me," Fenn says as she drops out of her dress and rips Tyson's tee shirt off. Watch the scene here.
Cathy (Daryl Hannah) and Michael (Peter Gallagher) play a cute, vapid, American couple who take a villa on a Greek Island for the summer. While Cathy's off snapping pictures of annoyed locals, Michael is making skin souvlaki with Lina (Valerie Quennessen) a French archeologist. "Making love to you is like riding a horse," Michael exclaims breathlessly. Soon all three are sunbathing nude and rubbing olive oil on each other. Watch the scene here.
In John Waters' fractured fairy tale, Mink Stole stars as the raving Peggy Gravel on the run with her 300 lb. maid Grizelda (Jean Hill) after killing Peggy's husband. They hide out in the lawless mythical kingdom of Mortville. But who can forget their naked roll in the hay during a moonlit night? Especially the look of genuine terror on Mink Stole's face as Jean Hill smothers her with her mountainous body.
The Brown Bunny
Vincent Gallo wrote, directed and starred in this controversial film about a motorcycle race driver on a cross-country odyssey mooning over his lost love (Chloe Sevigny). The final scene included Sevigny actually fellating the well-endowed Gallo- which caused many critics apoplexy. I was actually surprised at how hauntingly cinematic it was. Watch the scene here.
Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls
The late great sexploitation director Russ Meyer's first mainstream film, co-written by Roger Ebert, is a loony masterwork of sex, drugs and rock and roll. It includes tons of great nude love scenes but for my money the best is with the amazing Edy Williams as a lascivious nymphomaniac starlet who seduces the young male lead in her car screaming out: "There's nothing like a Rolls not even a Bentley...Bentley!!!!"Watch the scene here.
The wonderful Jess Weixler stars as sweet Dawn, who loses her virginity with her handsome boyfriend at their favorite swimming hole at the same time she discovers that there are teeth in her vagina. That scene alone has a certain sexy, nasty, sting to it... especially for her unfortunate sweetheart.
Pouty-lipped lawyer Emily (Carrie Otis) heads to Rio to close a major hotel deal when she meets Wheeler (Mickey Roarke) a mysterious Harley-Davidson-riding millionaire who takes her to masked orgies but never lays a hand on her. That is until the end in a steamy sex scene available in R or Unrated versions. Watch the scene here.
Black Devil Doll From Hell
In this deranged Blaxploitation film a nice church lady buys a corn-row sporting ventriloquist dummy at a local thrift store. It comes to life and ravishes her in her bed in a sex scene that goes on interminably with a soundtrack that sounds like someone is leaning an elbow on a synthesizer.
John Derek made a career out of casting his wife, statuesque beauty Bo Derek, in a series of lousy films. None were as notorious as this lulu where Bo plays a 20's heiress who heads to Morocco looking for love where she gets a desert sheikh to lick honey off her. Unsatisfied she off to Spain where she finally loses her virginity to a matador. When a bull gets him by the balls, Bo nurses him back to health by riding around on a horse nude and whipping her hair across his naked body screaming: "I want ecstasy!"Watch the scene here.
Erika Anderson plays a woman who runs a boutique for cross-dressers with an impotent husband (Judge Reinhold) who falls for a TV repairman (Nicholas Cage) who says: " I want to shake you naked and eat you alive, Zandalee!" They screw on a clothes dryer and in a Catholic church where Cage looks upward and says "Thank you, Father!"Watch the church scene here.
In the midst of working on the Netflix reboot of Wet Hot American Summer, actress Elizabeth Banks sat down with Refinery 29 to discuss her upcoming projects. She commented on her role in Magic Mike XXL (she claimed Channing Tatum is the best dancer on set and I believe her) and, most importantly, on Paul Rudd's kissing.
In the original Wet Hot, Rudd and Banks infamously made out in the most grotesque ways all over Camp Firewood, but even though the two played up their make out sessions for laughs, Banks confirmed that Paul Rudd is indeed a good kisser. "Lovely and soft," she told Refinery. "You can quote that."
While Paul Rudd and Elizabeth Banks won't be reprise their absurd spit-swapping in the upcoming 8-episode series, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, Banks assured that the classic, camp make out sesh will happen in some capacity: "I will tell you that I do not make out with Paul Rudd's character, but I do make out with another character. I will not say who, or even if they're male or female. I have a long career of making out with just anybody."

93-year-old fashion iconoclast Iris Apfel is the subject of a fantastic upcoming documentary by the legendary late filmmaker Albert Maysles, and Paper is excited to premiere this exclusive new clip from the film. Here we see Ms. Apfel at the 2011 CFDA awards, where she schmoozes with fashion big guns like Jenna Lyons and Alexander Wang before running into Kanye West. Apfel, let's just say, is totally charmed. Watch the clip above and catch Iris in theaters April 29th.
